This is the first food post. I ordered from Fuji Sushi Bar in Auburn AL.
Well.. in a range of 1 to 5. I will give it a 0.8
I ordered a kind of stir fried noodles, gyoza, egg roll, and finally ice cream for desert.
To begin with, the noodles: tasteless. When i placed the order, I choose steak as my protein, and it gave me an option to choose what kind of rareness of the steak. base on my experience, it usually indicate that the food will not be tasty, but I ordered anyway. Well… Turns out i am right. The meat, the veggie, and the noodies, are all tasteless. I don’t know if Fuji don’t have salt? or out of soy sauce?
Gyoza, is not wonderful, but well, at least I could eat. I will give it a 2.5 out of 5. As well as the spring roll.
The appetizer in asian restaurant usually won’t be so bad, since they may not even make the dish themselves, there are frozen pre-prepared spring rolls, gyoza and such in the asian supermarket. Most sloppy restaurant just bought those things and follow the instructions to cook for you, and charge about 3 times the price….
Finally, let talk about the ice cream. I ordered the red bean ice cream. But the restaurant called the website and the website called me that they are out of the red bean one, and they recommend the Green Tea one. I said “yes” to it. When it came, it look like this:
It looks like someone try to eat it but turns out it is disgusting and he/she just threw up. Well, indeed, it is very bad. I don’t know how long it was store in the fridge, because there are small ice pieces in it. Usually happened when the ice cream is unfreeze and refrozen. It is not Ice Cream, it is Ice trash. Took one bite, and throw to the trash can where it belongs.
Won’t order it again.
In fact, I used to dine in Fuji Sushi Bar before, and I ordered the Eel Rice, and it is very salty and the eel taste like it was in a vacuum packaging and frozen.
They reason why I order it this time is that a dude recently told me Fuji is good. The exact dude who cause me got 2 “F” in my class (the only two “F” in my life). Also, this dude loves to eat a kind of meat with rice bowl in a food truck on Campus. Basically, to make the bowl, the “cook” just put in cold slightly-cooked rice, cold meat, and give you some sauce on top, and that is it. I believed a person who loves to eat those kind of cheap stuff… Not again.
